On the first day of school, the Senior Class watched the sunrise together at the football field. Yesterday, on their last day of school, they grilled burgers and watched the sunset (sort of...it was cloudy) and spent one final evening together as a class.

The JH Girls team had the most successful year of any team in the last 15 years with two first-place finishes and one second-place finish. They continually hit PR's throughout the season and grew as a unit as they did. During our Second to last meet, the girls managed to score 180 points all together which was the highest point total from any team or meet we saw the entire year! The girls should be very proud of themselves and excited for continued success in the years to come.

During the Jr. High track season Kael Hamann ran mostly 800s and 1600s. He set out on a chase to take down a 21-year-old record of 5:09.28 in the mile run. It took him 3 tries to get to a 5:09.40 which just barely missed it. After that performance, he never looked back. He went on to run a 5:02 and then ran his best race with a 5:01.82 at the conference meet! Congratulations Kael on a successful 8th-grade season!!
