On Mondays in the high school, the students and staff take 20 minutes to participate in RAMS (Reading Articles Magazines and Stories) time. Students read books, comics, magazines or product manuals during this time. Reading something you enjoy is a great way to improve literacy and vocabulary.

High School Parents: Just a reminder that fall sports photos will be tomorrow, Wednesday, October 13 for football, dance, and cross country athletes. Volleyball players will have photos this Thursday, October 14 after school prior to the game. The photographer will be taking a full group photo as well as individual shots. The photographer has lots of neat options to choose from including: prints, buttons, magnets, posters, banners, memory mates, and yard signs. These are great keepsakes to have for years to come. Even if a student doesn’t plan on ordering any photos, we still need to take his/her photo so that it can be included on the composited/photo shopped images. Please remind students to bring their uniforms, filled out order form, and money (check or exact cash if possible) with them on that day. Thanks so much!

The students in World History participated in a hieroglyphics challenge. They had to decipher the questions written in hieroglyphs and then answer each question correctly. This was a fun way to review for their Egypt quiz later this week.
